Keto Cheesy Mushroom Omelette

Ingredient List

  • 2 eggs, large size

  • 14g butter, for frying

  • 25 g (60 ml) cheddar cheese

  • 4 large mushrooms, sliced

  • salt and pepper

  • 1 piece of Ketolicious flat bread

Preparation Steps

  • Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and add a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk with a fork until the mixture is smooth and frothy.

  • Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the mushrooms, stirring until they are tender. Pour the egg mixture into the pan, ensuring it surrounds the mushroom.

  • As the omelet begins to cook and firm up but still has some liquid egg on top, sprinkle cheese over it.

  • Using a spatula, gently lift the edges of the omelet and fold it in half. Once the bottom turns golden, remove the pan from the heat and slide the omelet onto a plate.

  • Serve with Ketolicious flatbread.
