Ingredients are for 2 servings
Kufta Meat
200g Minced meat, we use the following combination:
40% (80g) Minced meat- cow meat
40% (80g) Minced meat - Lamb meat
20% (40g) Lamb fat
1/2 Medium size (60g) onion, finely chopped
1/3 (20g) cup parsley, finely chopped.
3g sea salt
3g grounded black pepper
2g mixed spices or kufta spices.
Tahini Sauce
1/3 cup (100 ml) Tahini Sauce.
30 ml Lemon juice or a Juice from two medium size lemon
1 tablespoon yoghurt - Full fat
Salt & pepper to taste
500ml cups water, boiled.
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 200°C .
Meanwhile, combine all the kufta ingredients in a mixing bowl. Shape the mixture into your preferred forms (circles, ovals, balls, etc.) and bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, In a separate mixing bowl, combine all the tahini sauce ingredients and whisk properly.
Take the pan out of the oven and pour the tahini mixture into the pan with the kufta. Give the pan a gentle shake to distribute the sauce evenly.
Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the tahini sauce thickens to your liking.
