Ingredient List
120g ground beef (80%, lean, 20% fat)
salt and ground black pepper
1/2 tablespoon butter or olive oil, for frying
70 g green cabbage
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
4 radishes, in wedges
1 large dill pickle or regular pickles, halved
1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard or yellow mustard (optional)
Preparation Steps
Form two burger patties per serving from plain ground beef. Wetting your hands can make this step easier. Season the patties with salt and pepper.
Fry the burgers in butter or oil over medium to high heat until they are nicely browned on both sides.
Lower the heat to medium and continue frying until the burgers are cooked to your preferred level of doneness.
Shred the cabbage using a sharp knife or mandolin.
Serve the burgers with shredded cabbage, mayonnaise, radishes, pickles, and mustard.
